who we are

“These ladies don’t tip toe around the stage, but rather heave fellow dancers in the air and throw themselves on the ground in an effort to interpret heady themes and funky songs.”  ~Jaci Webb, Billings Gazette.

Terpsichore is Billings’ first contemporary dance company, established in 2010.  With over twelve artists under the direction of founder Ricki Feeley, Terpsichore Dance Company is gaining momentum and carving out a place in the Billings art community. Currently the company is preparing for an eighth season show at the Babcock. The company will feature one show on Friday, March 3rd, at 7pm, and on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at  7pm. Terpsichore Dance Company is a non-profit organization in the state of Montana, with ambitions to further contemporary dance in the Billings community and surrounding communities.

Our Vision  We aim to share with the Billings community ‘our’ art of dance. In addition, we hope to give dancers in our community an outlet to perform. It is our vision to incorporate the artistic community with the healing arts of dance. Our goals include mainstreaming our dances into community events, and schools throughout our area.  We will look for opportunities to perform and teach in communuties all over the state of Montana.  Our vision also strongly advocates to give young aspiring pre-professional dance students education, experience, and the opportunity to gain exposure to a professional company within the Billings community.

Outreach Initiative Terpsichore Dance Company is interested in bringing therapeutic dance classes to the disabled community and will donate a percentage of its proceeds to achieve this goal.

Sponsors are Welcome! By supporting the arts in your community you will generate goodwill where you live, work, and play.  Terpsichore is a nonprofit organization.
